Specialist gastroenterology dietitian, yoga teacher, and educator.
Kaitlin Colucci is one of the leading gut health experts in the UK whose work bridges evidence-based nutrition with the healing practices of yoga, meditation, breathwork, and nervous system regulation. As the founder of Kaitlin Colucci Nutrition Ltd, she supports individuals with IBS and complex gut conditions through an integrative, science-driven, and compassionate approach.
A former NHS gastroenterology dietitian with over a decade of clinical experience, Kaitlin now works at the intersection of specialist dietetic practice, integrative therapy, and digital health innovation. She is a contributing expert to Belly Balance, Scandinavia’s largest IBS platform, where she collaborates on patient education, behaviour-change programmes, clinical content development, and specialist campaigns with global partners including PrecisionBiotics. Alongside this, she consults for organisations such as Danone, Bupa, and other major health and wellbeing companies, supporting them with evidence-based nutrition expertise, content development, and strategic guidance on digestive health. Her work focuses on transforming the way individuals understand and manage functional gut disorders.
As the creator of Gut-Directed Yoga, Kaitlin has developed a therapeutic method that integrates somatic movement, breathwork, vagal-toning practices, and her extensive knowledge of digestive physiology. A 530-hour registered yoga teacher trained in vinyasa, yin yoga, and yoga nidra, she teaches internationally, and leads immersive retreats, combining science-led education with embodied tools that support the gut–brain axis.
Kaitlin is also an experienced educator and speaker, delivering keynote presentations, corporate wellness sessions, and professional trainings for healthcare providers. Her teaching spans IBS management, nutrition science, stress and digestion, and the application of integrative modalities within evidence-based dietetic care.
Her work is grounded in scientific rigour while honouring the interconnectedness of body, mind, and lifestyle – an approach that empowers clients to navigate IBS with confidence, clarity, and long-term skill. Split between London and Ibiza, Kaitlin continues to expand her work at the intersection of digestive health, embodiment, and patient-centred care.
