The Art of Arriving: How to Prepare for a Transformational Stay

Most people think preparation means packing the right things. For a transformational stay, it means something far more interior than that.

Begin Before You Arrive

The moment you commit to a stay at Difuso, something in you already begins to shift. This is worth paying attention to.

In the weeks before you arrive, slow down where you can. Reduce the noise, less scrolling, less filling of every gap. Let there be space for whatever is rising to begin to surface.

Journaling can be a gentle companion here. Not to analyse or solve, but simply to notice: what am I carrying? What am I hoping to lay down?

Tend to the Basics

Deep inner work is metabolically and emotionally demanding. Your body is your vessel for this journey, and it benefits from arriving as rested and nourished as possible.

If you can, in the weeks prior, prioritise sleep, eat well, move gently, and reduce alcohol. This isn’t about arriving perfect. It’s about arriving present.

Come With Curiosity, Not a Curriculum

The most important thing you can leave behind is a fixed idea of what your transformation should look like.

The most profound shifts rarely arrive on schedule or in the shape we expected. Come with intention, yes, but hold it lightly. The process has its own intelligence.

Your role is simply to show up, to be honest, and to trust the process. The space is here to hold you. The facilitators you choose will guide the work.

Arrive open. The rest will take care of itself.
